He started in sports after his daughter Isabel's cancer diagnosis. ""I ran to forget everything that I lived in the hospital, to forget those moments of suffering..."" When Isabel came out of the spinal cord transplant, of which he was the donor, he began to run with her in her baby carrier. When Isabel was 10 months old, they ran the 2014 San Silvestre, and from there they discovered that by doing challenges and sports races they could fight against the disease, raising funds and raising awareness so that other people and companies also could contribute. ""For every person who sees us running, we feel that the solution to child cancer is closer!"" His hobbies are enjoying life at all times, living in the present and dreaming with tomorrow, ""the word LIFE has taken on a very important meaning for my family."" His passion is fighting the disease. ""Every case that our doctor carries out makes me stronger thanks to the clinical trials and advanced therapy treatments that we help finance from CRIScancer foundation."" ""One of the most important milestones was the moment when a mother called me and told me that thanks to CRIScancer and my races, a treatment had just saved her daughter, who had the same disease that Isabel overcame. And that is my greatest reward."" Winner of the Pie derecho award of the Cadena 100, the VIDA award from the CRIScancer foundation, and the Gold Plaque for health from the Community of Madrid.
